IndiGo accounting integration

IndiGo Integration with SYSTACC

An IndiGo booking should reach the books without being typed a second time. Retrieve the PNR, and SYSTACC drafts the flight invoice with the passengers, the sectors and the fare. You still decide what gets posted.

Overview

Accounting software built for travel

IndiGo bookings often sit on the airline website, not inside a GDS file. On a new flight invoice, choose the IndiGo account your agency uses, enter the PNR and the passenger last name, and retrieve. SYSTACC reads the booking and fills the draft.

The draft keeps the PNR, the booking date and every traveller, including a child or an infant travelling with an adult. Each sector arrives with the 6E flight number, departure and arrival times, cabin, terminals and check-in baggage. The route is built from those sectors, so a one-way and a connection stay on one invoice.

The fare comes in as base fare and other charges, split across the passengers on the booking. SYSTACC then applies your commission setup. It does not invent a line-by-line tax breakup the booking did not send. Finance reviews the numbers, then saves.

The same invoice can also start from a document. An IndiGo email confirmation or a website printout is read for the PNR, passenger names, cities, airports, terminals, times and flight number, and those details merge into the flight record.

Benefits

Why travel agencies choose this approach

01

The domestic pile, handled

IndiGo carries a large share of domestic tickets for most Indian agencies. Retrieving the PNR takes that block of manual entry off the desk.

02

The whole journey, one draft

Passengers, infants, connections and baggage allowance land together, so the invoice matches the booking the customer holds.

03

Retail and corporate, kept apart

Regular, corporate, coupon and SME IndiGo accounts retrieve onto their own supplier line, so the payable does not mix.

04

A fare you can still check

Base fare and other charges are filled in, commission is applied from your setup, and nothing posts until you save.

How it works

From onboarding to daily books

  1. 01

    Choose the IndiGo account

On the flight invoice, select the website source and the IndiGo retrieve account configured for your agency.

  2. 02

    Retrieve the PNR

Enter the PNR and the passenger last name. SYSTACC pulls the booking onto the draft.

  3. 03

    Review sectors and fare

Check names, flight numbers, times, terminals, baggage and the fare split. Adjust anything that needs a human decision.

  4. 04

    Post the invoice

Save the customer invoice and the IndiGo payable from that draft. A later refund is a credit note against the same invoice.

FAQs

Common questions

Does SYSTACC integrate with IndiGo?

Yes. On a flight invoice you retrieve an IndiGo booking by PNR and passenger last name. The passengers, sectors and fare land on the draft, and you review them before you post.

What do I need to pull an IndiGo booking?

The PNR, the passenger last name, and the IndiGo account configured for your agency. Regular, corporate, coupon and SME accounts are separate retrieve options.

Which details come onto the invoice?

The PNR, booking date, traveller names and types, including infants, and each sector: the 6E flight number, times, cabin, terminals and check-in baggage. The route is built from those sectors.

Does the full tax breakup come in from IndiGo?

The retrieve brings base fare and other charges. It does not invent a YQ, YR or GST line the booking did not send. You review the fare, then save. GST reports later use the invoice you posted.

Can an IndiGo email or printed ticket start an invoice?

Yes. An IndiGo confirmation email or website printout is read for the PNR, passenger names, cities, airports, terminals, times and flight number, and those details merge into the flight record.

How are IndiGo refunds handled?

Raise the credit note from the invoice you posted. The customer balance and the IndiGo payable both move from that sale, instead of a second note typed from scratch.

Can we keep IndiGo sales apart from other airlines?

Yes. Each IndiGo account posts to its own supplier line, and airline reports read from the same ticket records.
