Akasa Air accounting integration

Akasa Air Integration with SYSTACC

An Akasa Air booking should reach the books without being typed a second time. Retrieve the PNR, and SYSTACC drafts the flight invoice with the passengers, the sectors and the fare. You still decide what gets posted.

Overview

Accounting software built for travel

Akasa Air bookings often sit on the airline website, not inside a GDS file. On a new flight invoice, choose the Akasa Air account your agency uses, enter the PNR and the passenger last name, and retrieve. SYSTACC reads the booking and fills the draft.

The draft keeps the PNR and the booking date. Each sector arrives with the QP flight number, class, departure and arrival times, cities, airports and terminals. A return on the same booking is included, so the route is built from those sectors. Check-in baggage is filled when the booking sends a weight. If it does not, the draft shows 15 kg, and you check that figure before you save.

The fare comes in as the journey total split across the passengers, with the tax total carried as other charges. SYSTACC then applies your commission setup. It does not invent a YQ, YR or GST line the booking did not send. Finance reviews the numbers, then saves.

A printed Akasa ticket can start the same flight record. The booking reference is read from the ticket, and only the fare lines that are actually printed. A later refund is a credit note against the invoice you posted.

Benefits

Why travel agencies choose this approach

01

The website booking, handled

Akasa Air sales often sit outside the GDS file. Retrieving the PNR takes that entry off the desk.

02

Outbound and return, one draft

Sectors and a return on the same booking land together, so the invoice matches the trip the customer holds.

03

Retail and corporate, kept apart

Regular and corporate Akasa accounts retrieve onto their own supplier line, so the payable does not mix.

04

A fare you can still check

The journey total and tax total are filled in, commission comes from your setup, and nothing posts until you save.

How it works

From onboarding to daily books

  1. 01

    Choose the Akasa Air account

On the flight invoice, select the website source and the Akasa retrieve account configured for your agency. Regular and corporate accounts stay separate.

  2. 02

    Retrieve the PNR

Enter the PNR and the passenger last name. SYSTACC pulls the booking onto the draft.

  3. 03

    Review sectors and fare

Check names, QP flight numbers, times, terminals, baggage and the fare split. Adjust anything that needs a human decision.

  4. 04

    Post the invoice

Save the customer invoice and the Akasa Air payable. A later refund is a credit note against the same invoice.

FAQs

Common questions

Does SYSTACC integrate with Akasa Air?

Yes. On a flight invoice you retrieve an Akasa Air booking by PNR and passenger last name. The passengers, sectors and fare land on the draft, and you review them before you post.

What do I need to pull an Akasa Air booking?

The PNR, the passenger last name, and the Akasa Air account configured for your agency. Regular and corporate accounts are separate retrieve options.

Which details come onto the invoice?

The PNR, booking date, traveller names, and each sector: the QP flight number, class, times, cities, airports and terminals. A return on the same booking is included. Check-in baggage is filled when the booking sends a weight.

Does the full tax breakup come in?

The retrieve brings the journey total and the tax total as other charges. It does not invent a YQ, YR or GST line the booking did not send. You review the fare, then save. GST reports later use the invoice you posted.

Where does the baggage weight come from?

When the booking includes a bag weight, that weight lands on the sector. If it does not, the draft shows 15 kg. Check the figure before you save.

Can an Akasa ticket PDF start an invoice?

Yes. A printed Akasa ticket is read for the booking reference. Fare lines that are not on the document are not guessed.

How are Akasa Air refunds handled?

Raise the credit note from the invoice you posted. The customer balance and the Akasa Air payable both move from that sale.
