MakeMyTrip accounting integration

MakeMyTrip Integration with SYSTACC

A MakeMyTrip booking should not be retyped into the books. Upload the MakeMyTrip report as an Excel sheet, or upload the ticket PDF, and SYSTACC fills in the passenger, the sector and the amount. You review it before it posts.

Overview

Accounting software built for travel

Many agencies book flights and hotels on MakeMyTrip for their clients. SYSTACC brings those bookings into your books in two ways: the MakeMyTrip report as an Excel sheet, or the ticket itself as a PDF.

For a batch, open Import PNR and choose MMT-FLIGHT or MMT-HOTEL, then pick your MakeMyTrip supplier account. Upload the report as XLS, XLSX, CSV or TSV, up to 5 MB. If a hotel report is uploaded under MMT-FLIGHT, SYSTACC stops and tells you to use MMT-HOTEL.

On a flight report, rows are grouped by MakeMyTrip booking ID, so one booking becomes one invoice. Only confirmed bookings are imported, and the rest are listed as not ticketed. The airline is matched to the airline account on your chart. The amount paid, by gateway or wallet, comes in with the commission and TDS, and the full fare sits on the base fare with a note on the invoice. Imported flight invoices wait as pending, so you review them before they count.

Hotel reports bring the booking reference, lead guest, hotel name, check-in and check-out dates, nights and the amount paid. If the nights are missing, they are worked out from the dates.

A ticket number or hotel booking reference already in the books is skipped. If MakeMyTrip has changed a booking, set On Duplicate to Update Invoice and the existing invoice is updated.

For a single booking, use Ticket to Invoice. Pick the client and upload the ticket PDF, or up to 20 PDFs at once. SYSTACC reads the PNR, passengers, route, fare, GST, taxes and ticket numbers. You check the preview, then create the draft.

Benefits

Why travel agencies choose this approach

01

Two ways in, one set of books

The MakeMyTrip Excel report for a batch, the ticket PDF for a single booking. Both end up as SYSTACC invoices.

02

Flights and hotels

MakeMyTrip flight and hotel reports each have their own import, so every booking posts as the right product.

03

Only confirmed bookings

Bookings that were not ticketed are listed, not invoiced, and commission and TDS come in with the amount.

04

No booking counted twice

Ticket numbers and hotel references already in the books are skipped, or updated when you choose Update Invoice.

How it works

  3. 03

    Review what came in

Check the pending flight invoices and hotel invoices, and confirm the preview for a PDF.

  4. 04

    Post and report

Saved invoices sit on your MakeMyTrip supplier account and flow into your ledgers, GST and supplier reports.

FAQs

Common questions

Does SYSTACC integrate with MakeMyTrip?

Yes. You bring MakeMyTrip bookings in by uploading the MakeMyTrip Excel report or the ticket PDF. Both create invoices in SYSTACC on your MakeMyTrip supplier account.

Which MakeMyTrip reports can I upload?

Flight and hotel booking reports, each with its own option in Import PNR: MMT-FLIGHT and MMT-HOTEL. Files can be XLS, XLSX, CSV or TSV, up to 5 MB.

How does ticket PDF to invoice work?

In Ticket to Invoice, choose the client and upload the ticket PDF. SYSTACC reads the PNR, passengers, route, fare, taxes and ticket numbers, shows you a preview, and creates a draft invoice when you confirm. You can upload up to 20 PDFs at once, 5 MB each.

What happens to bookings that were not ticketed?

Only confirmed bookings are imported from a MakeMyTrip flight report. Other bookings are listed as not ticketed, so they do not become invoices.

Why are imported flight invoices pending?

Flight invoices from a MakeMyTrip report are saved as pending so you can check the client, airline and amount before they count in your books. The full fare is placed on the base fare, with a note on the invoice.

What if I upload the same MakeMyTrip report twice?

Ticket numbers and hotel booking references already in the books are reported as duplicates and skipped. Choose Update Invoice under On Duplicate if MakeMyTrip has changed a booking.

Is there a live API connection to MakeMyTrip?

No. The integration works with the files you get from MakeMyTrip: the booking report and the ticket PDF. You upload them, and SYSTACC does the data entry.
